Welcome

Welcome to Holy Cross Hospital in Haslemere, Surrey. The Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liège established the Hospital as a tuberculosis sanatorium in 1917. Over the years, the Hospital has evolved and we now help people with severe disability and long-term conditions to achieve the best possible quality of life.

The Hospital provides a comfortable, homely environment for 40 patients who are highly dependent, need very detailed care plans, skilled care and treatment. Our team provides professional specialist services in a friendly, safe and calm environment. This approach allows us to challenge the limits to recovery on a daily basis and has earned us a reputation for being a centre of excellence.

We place a great deal of emphasis on learning and development. Our staff are encouraged and supported to further their skills by taking part in training and we regularly hold knowledge sharing events with other professionals.

Holy Cross Hospital has an integrated physiotherapy centre where we treat outpatients. The centre has a well-equipped gym and a hydrotherapy pool. Our team of physiotherapists and hydrotherapists will design a treatment plan especially for you. It could include hydrotherapy in our purpose built pool, a bespoke rehabilitative exercise programme in our gym, sports massage, acupuncture, Pilates and tailored advice. See The Physiotherapy Centre website for more information.
