Coronavirus (COVID-19) update
Our patients and residents are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19.
In order to minimise the risk of the virus being brought into the hospital, we have introduced socially distanced face to face visiting.
The safety of our patients and staff remains our number one priority and we thank you for your cooperation during this difficult and challenging time.
See our coronavirus information page for useful links and advice.
Holy Cross Hospital, Haslemere, Surrey
The Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liège established Holy Cross as a tuberculosis sanatorium in 1917. Over the years, the Hospital has evolved, and we now help people with severe disability and long-term conditions to achieve the best possible quality of life.
The Hospital provides a comfortable, homely environment for 40 patients who are highly dependent, need very detailed care plans, skilled care and treatment. Our team provides professional specialist services in a friendly, safe and calm environment. This approach allows us to challenge the limits to recovery on a daily basis and has earned us a reputation for being a centre of excellence.
We place a great deal of emphasis on learning and development. Our staff are encouraged and supported to further their skills by taking part in training and we regularly hold knowledge sharing events with other professionals.
Holy Cross Hospital has an integrated physiotherapy centre where we treat outpatients. The centre has a well-equipped gym and a hydrotherapy pool. Our team of physiotherapists and hydrotherapists will design a treatment plan especially for you. See The Physiotherapy Centre website for more information.
