Coronavirus (COVID-19) update — 5 January 2021
Our patients are particularly vulnerable to COVID-19 so our aim is to keep Holy Cross free of the virus.
The government’s announcement that there will be an England-wide lockdown has prompted us to suspend all visiting until further notice.
This decision was not taken lightly but the safety of our patients and staff is our number one priority. We thank you for your cooperation during this difficult and challenging time.
See our coronavirus information page for useful links and advice.

Holy Cross Hospital, Haslemere, Surrey
The Congregation of the Daughters of the Cross of Liège established Holy Cross as a tuberculosis sanatorium in 1917. Over the years, the Hospital has evolved, and we now help people with severe disability and long-term conditions to achieve the best possible quality of life.
The Hospital provides a comfortable, homely environment for 40 patients who are highly dependent, need very detailed care plans, skilled care and treatment. Our team provides professional specialist services in a friendly, safe and calm environment. This approach allows us to challenge the limits to recovery on a daily basis and has earned us a reputation for being a centre of excellence.
We place a great deal of emphasis on learning and development. Our staff are encouraged and supported to further their skills by taking part in training and we regularly hold knowledge sharing events with other professionals.
Holy Cross Hospital has an integrated physiotherapy centre with a well-equipped gym and a hydrotherapy pool for outpatients. Our team of physiotherapists will empower you to take control of your health by providing you with knowledge and understanding about your problem along with a bespoke treatment plan. See The Physiotherapy Centre website for more information.
