Temporary Full-Time Caretaker

  • Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)

The Caretaker will undertake a variety of tasks and play an integral role in maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, comfort and efficient operation throughout the hospital buildings and grounds including minor repairs, general maintenance tasks and care of our Hydrotherapy pool. Training will be provided.

Part Time Cook/General Assistant

  • Alternate weekends plus one weekday. Shifts of 7.5 hours each, hours are between 8am and 6pm.

We are looking for a flexible cook to work every other weekend and one day in the week. Duties will include assisting the Chef with patient and staff lunches and the weekday day shift will be general duties in the kitchen including washing up, vegetable preparation, deliveries etc.

Registered Nurse - day duty

  • SALARY: £30,074 (£15.38 per hour) – £38,220 (£19.55 per hour) for full time hours (37.5)
  • Full/Part Time

We are looking for highly motivated Registered Nurses with current NMC registration to join our friendly, supportive staff team delivering high quality, evidence based care.

Health Care Assistants

  • Full/Part Time

Health Care Assistant (Convent)

  • SALARY: from £9.09
  • Full time, to include some weekend working

HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT required for The Convent at Holy Cross Hospital, full time hours available, to be worked on a shift pattern between 8am and 8pm including weekends. Rate of pay from £9.09 per hour, plus enhanced rates for working on a Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays. As the successful candidate will be providing care to religious sisters there is an occupational requirement that the position can only be held by a female.

Full-time Housekeeping Assistant

  • SALARY: from £9.09
  • Full time, to include some weekend working

Needed to join our small, friendly team, full-time with some weekend working. Successful candidates will play an integral role in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hospital. Rate of pay from: £9.09 per hour basic with enhanced rates for Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.

Health Care Assistants – Night duty

The health care assistant assists with all aspects and delivery of nursing care in support of and under the direction of senior health care assistants and registered nurses.

Work experience

We are happy to consider students over the age of 16 years for work experience. This may be working with the clinical team or in any of the non-clinical areas.

The Hospital provides placements for student nurses and physiotherapy students.
