Holy Cross Hospital has thanked local fundraisers, runners and supporters after receiving a cheque for £2,600, the proceeds of the ever-popular Boxing Day Run across the Devil’s Punchbowl.
It would take more than chilly weather and an overly large Christmas meal to stop local runners and fundraisers from joining in the annual Boxing Day Run.

Three years ago, friends of a patient at Holy Cross Hospital launched a fundraising appeal to build a wheelchair accessible treehouse so that patients could experience and enjoy the hospital’s woodland setting.
