New art project for patients

Holy Cross is delighted to be taking part in Haslemere Hares. This is the successor to Haslemere Hogs which was last year’s community art project.

The project involves local organisations and individuals decorating large model hares which will form an art trail around the town over the summer months. The hare parade launch is on Saturday 19 May at Haslemere Museum.

Our hare has been decorated by the patients’ art group and named Hare of the Dog!

Dr Ross White, Chief Executive at Holy Cross says: “Our art group members got so much enjoyment out of last year’s Haslemere Hogs that we didn’t hesitate in signing up to be part of Haslemere Hares.

“Thanks to sponsorship from plumbing, heating and electrical specialists Paine Manwaring and building contractors Oak Services we will be able to keep our hare at the end of the project. It will join Vivaldi our Hog for all Seasons and both will be enjoyed by patients, visitors and staff.”

You can follow the progress of the project on the Haslemere Hares’ Facebook page.
