Information for Physiotherapists
Physiotherapists wishing to refer patients directly to hydrotherapy can do so if:
a) the patient is currently having physiotherapy treatment with the referring physiotherapist for the same problem to be treated in hydrotherapy
b) the referring physiotherapist has assessed that hydrotherapy is an appropriate treatment for the patient
c) a referral form and health screen has been completed by the referring therapist, with a signature and contact details on the referral. Completed forms should be forwarded to the Physiotherapy Centre by post or fax prior to the patients' appointment.
